Elmira Aghsaei
Founder + Principal | Elmira Aghsaei Architecture
I’m an architect and designer passionate about creating spaces that truly make a difference—places that bring people together, support health and wellness, and contribute to stronger, more sustainable communities. Over the years, I’ve been fortunate to work on some of BC’s most notable projects, like 1515 Alberni, a landmark 42-story residential tower in downtown Vancouver, the 52-story 3 Civic Plaza, and the largest school development in the province’s history. In 2023, I founded my own practice, Elmira Aghsaei Architecture, where I now lead projects across different scales—from residential and commercial to large cultural and educational developments. Some of my firm's rewarding recent work includes consulting on the design and development of Crescent Heights Academy in Surrey and multiple Indigenous projects such as Istken gathering place. Alongside practice, I love mentoring students and emerging architects. I know how important it is to have guidance early in your career, and I’m always excited to share what I’ve learned, answer questions, and support others as they grow into their own design voice.
