I am a principal at LARA Landscape Architecture which is a young and dynamic landscape architecture studio based out of Vancouver. We offer a fresh approach to all aspects of landscape design, managing projects from concept through completion. Our studio is geared towards projects of all scales, complexity, and sectors, while consistently providing high-quality services and deliverables. We pride ourselves on our attention to detail, our tightly knit consultant relationships, and our dedication to customer service. I have an extensive international background - both having lived and worked in a number of countries throughout Europe, the Middle East, and North America before settling in Vancouver. While my experience abroad has created a foundation for the studio's innovative design approach, it is my commitment and stewardship to the Pacific Northwest that inform and inspire the language and details of each project. Through the careful exploration of a site's historical, ecological, and cultural characteristics, every project is tailored to create a site-specific design that is functional, memorable, and resilient. I worked at a number of leading landscape architecture studios in Canada and have gathered extensive knowledge in residential, commercial, public, and civic projects. I am 36 years old and have been Living in Vancouver for about 8 years. I have a bachelor's degree in business administration and I went to the University of Guelph for landscape architecture. The idea of exchanging experiences and ideas with people who are just entering the profession really excites me!
