Manager of Parks, Recreation and Culture Policy Planning | City of Burnaby

Do you like parks and natural areas? How about rec centres, culture facilities and community spaces? If so, I may be the mentor for you! I’m a registered landscape architect and SALA alum at the City of Burnaby where, according to my job description, I am “responsible for system-wide infrastructure planning including policies, needs assessments, strategies, and programs related to park planning, parkland acquisition, as well as recreation and culture planning works.” What that really means is I get to be immersed in all sorts of fun and fulfilling projects that make life better in Burnaby. If you’d like to learn more about working in the public sector or see some of Burnaby’s current projects underway, I’d be more than happy to take you on a tour and share what I know.
