Intern Architect | RSSAW

I grew up in East Vancouver, but am a Graduate from Dalhousie University's School of Architecture, and have been working in the industry for five years with experience in Vancouver, Seattle, Amsterdam, Halifax and New Zealand. Currently I am a registered Intern Architect, working at RSAAW Inc, on a variety of commercial and multi family projects. My main interests however, lie in the design of low-brow, low tech sustainable architecture rooted in vernacular and modernist traditions. I studied critical regionalism at school in Halifax, learned from pacific northwest industrialism at Olson Kundig in Seattle, and explored the surf shack, "bach" culture of NZ on my recent travels. My thesis "Ten by Ten; Guerilla architecture of Salish Sea", looked at the role of architects in remote locations, while unearthing local architecture on Canadas west coast. I'd love to help you work through your designs and navigate architecture school as well as the industry at large.
