Architect | Acton Ostry
My name is Matias Grez and I am a Registered Architect AIBC in British Columbia, Canada since 2025, and a Registered Architect COAM in the province of Madrid, Spain, since 2013. I have over 15 years of professional experience in architecture offices in Canada, Denmark and Spain. Furthermore, I am currently the official representative of the Association of Architects of Madrid in Canada, since 2024. My studies were taken at the Technical School of Architect of Madrid (ETSAM-UPM), completing my first year of my Architecture Master Program at the Royal Technical School of Stockholm (KTH) in Sweden, in 2010. I did also completed a workshop program at Sangath in Ahmedabad in India, lead by the Architect Pritzker Prize Balkrishna Doshi, back in 2011. During my studies I had the opportunity to work with the prestigious Spanish Architect Anton Garcia-Abril, Principal of Ensamble Studio and current professor at the MIT. I completed my final thesis and graduated in 2013. Also, during my years of study, I had the opportunity to assist and participate at several courses at the Catholic University of Valparaiso, Chile. My professional career started with my first three years at the Architectural and Interior Design firm Rosan Bosch Studio, in Copenhagen Denmark providing design services across Europe, America and Dubai. My professional career started in Canada in 2016, and I am a member of the team at Acton Ostry Architect since 2018.
