Pera Hardy
Senior Facilities Planner | University of British Columbia
I am a registered architect working as a facilities planner at UBC, in the Infrastructure Development department, doing strategic planning for construction projects. Before working as a planner, I worked as an architect at a variety of Vancouver-based firms including Principle Architecture, Tony Osborn Architecture and Design, and Local Practice Architecture and Design, doing work primarily in the institutional sector including schools, childcares, camp projects, and the odd residence. My bachelor's degree is from BCIT in Architectural Science and my master's degree is from UBC in Architecture. While at SALA I did research jobs, TA work, a study abroad in India, design-build, and was part of FaFa and Archus. In my work I'm interested in equity, beauty, playfulness and accessibility. Outside of work I'm into gardening, reading, traveling, cycling... the list goes on!
